Book Blogger Binge - June - Why Words Work

Book Blogger Binge: Hype Trains, Mid-Year Freak Outs and More…

It’s Book Blogger Binge time again!

Apologies about missing last week. I had a major change in my personal life that needed to take priority – if you follow me on Twitter, you probably already know.

Just a small reminder that all the bloggers featured on this list can be found on my Book Blogger Directory. Don’t forget to like, share, and comment on blogs you love. And if you want to support me, the blog, or the book blogger directory, you can check out my ko-fi page.

Now then, here are the book blogger posts I have enjoyed this week!

Book Blogger Posts I Loved This Week…

Curiouser and Curiouser - Book Blog

Ask The Blogger – Curiouser and Curiouser

What better way to kick of this book blogger binge than a post with more blogs to follow. Sadie from Curiouser and Curiouser asked fellow bloggers to give her questions. Alongside her answers, she posted a link to all the bloggers she spoke to. Her answers give book recommendations as well, so this is definitely a cool post to check out.

Bookish Geek - Book Blog

Top Ten Tuesday: Summer TBR – Bookish Geek

Who doesn’t love a good summer read? Bookish Geek talks about her to-be-read list this summer, a few of which I want to read as well! There are also some others that I had not heard of until now that I really want to check out. Thanks for the recommendations, Patricia!

Debbie's Library - Book Blog

Going with the Hype or Not? – Debbie’s Library

This was an interesting discussion post that got my mind thinking. We all know that books can be hyped up before and after launch, but how valuable is that to the average reader? Is it a good thing to follow the hype train, or are you better off catching your own ride? Debbie’s Library got the cogs in my brain turning. Head on over to the post and share your thoughts. Who knows – Maybe I’ll write a blog with my own response…

unConventional Book Views - Book Blog

Midyear Freak-Out Book Tag – (un)Conventional Book Views

Some more book recommendations here in this blog post! It may also get you thinking about how much you have read this year. Personally, I’ve been lagging behind. Can’t think of a better way to motivate myself to read than seeing all the awesome books someone else has read!

Book Review I Loved This Week…

Book Review: Gathering Darkness – A Book. A Thought.

Gathering Darkness by Morgan Rhodes is the third book in a series. And while it may seem strange to praise a book review talking about a series which I had no idea existed, once you read this review by A Book, A Thought, you’ll soon change your mind. Their energy floods throughout the entire review, and the use of hilarious gifs makes it a really entertaining read. The best way to recommend a book is to gush about it – suffice to say, thanks to this review, I am dying to check out the rest in the series. Thanks for the awesome post!
